Shelter or lean-to
Tomato Indigo Blue is resistant to our climate, but does need a warm and sheltered spot on the south. They can also be grown in pots, so you can easily place the plants under a shelter during heavy rainfall. Harvest when the skin is shiny. The ripe flesh may be purple on the inside, but that is not necessary.
Sow
Sow indoors in March to May. Place the young plants in a bright place and harden them off outside in good weather from April. You can plant them outside around the end of May. Tomato plants use a lot of water so make sure they don't dry out. Planting distance 60-80 cm. Height approximately 100 cm.
