Deep red onion variety that is spicier than the regular red onion. This medium-early variety is fast growing and gives a high yield. This tearjerker can also be stored for a long time.

Sowing

Sow thinly in rows with a minimum distance of 20 cm at a depth of 1 to 2 cm. As soon as the seedlings emerge, thin them out with a distance of 10 cm from each other.

Onions do not cover the ground, always remove weeds by hand so as not to damage the bulbs with garden tools. Do not give fresh and/or animal manure, onions do not need much fertilization. A little compost is sufficient. And only water the young onion bulbs on dry days. Red Baron can be sown very well in heavier soil.
