Tatsoi is an Asian vegetable with thick glossy leaves and core, also known as leafy cabbage. It is a small version of the well-known Pak Choi with a light cabbage flavour. You can eat Tatsoi raw or in hot dishes. Heat Tatsoi just like spinach to keep it crunchy.

Very easy to sow and fast growing. Sow thinly in the open ground from mid-April to September and plant spacing 30x30 cm. The seeds will germinate quickly and after about three weeks you can already harvest leaves. Tatsoi does not need full sun, half shade is even better and give enough water at the trunk.
