Spinach Butterfly.
A tasty spinach with bright, fresh green leaves. Fast growing, strong against mildew and bolting. A robust species with the beautiful name Butterflay. Spinach is one of the first varieties that you can harvest in the spring. You should choose the Butterflay not only for the taste, but also for the large leaves, which are much easier to harvest than the lower varieties. The large blade means you are much less bothered by sand.
Spring, summer, autumn and winter cultivation
You can sow Butterflay spinach seeds from mid-March to September. In winter (until February) this is also possible, but under glass. You sow spinach on site, densely in rows without thinning out. Row spacing 20 cm. Like many other vegetables, spinach tastes best when you harvest it young. You can eat the young leaves raw as a salad.
It's never boring, spinach with a boiled egg!
