Spicy mix sprout seeds
A composition of seeds for a special taste experience. Fenugreek for the oriental touch. This spicy seed is often used in curries but also in medicine. Mustard for even more flavor and China Rose (a type of radish) for more spice and gives beautiful red sprouts. Try these sprouts as a topping instead of coriander or make a yoghurt sauce, surprisingly tasty!
Ingredients
Organic Fenugreek, China Rose and mustard.
Sprouting instructions
- Sprouting time: 4 to 6 days.
- Soaking time: 4-8 hours.
- Yield: yield 1 tbsp seed yields 1.5 teacup sprouts.
- Soaking: put 1-2 tbsp seed in a glass jar with a sprouting lid or a piece of cheesecloth with elastic. Add water, shake and let drain briefly. Fill the jar with water again and let soak for between 4 and 8 hours. This is not necessary but it does ensure a faster germination. Empty the pot and place it in a colander and let it drain well. Put the lid on loosely (first 2 days), this prevents the seeds from drying out. Place the pot in a warm place but not in the sun.
- Rinsing: rinse the pot with water twice a day.
- Storage: 6 to 7 days in the refrigerator.
Spicy mix microgreens
Duration of germination of microgreens: 7 to 12 days.
Cover a bowl or container with unbleached cotton pads and moisten them.
Lightly squeeze the excess water from the cotton wool.

Place the bowl in a light place but not in direct sunlight.
Check every day whether the cotton wool is moist. Spray with a plant sprayer when necessary.
After two days you will see the seeds sprouting.
Cut off the shoots when the sprouts have formed leaves.
