Sandwich mix seeds
A soft, fresh, slightly sweet mix. A friend to everyone, so also suitable for children. Sandwich mix is only suitable for germination in a pot. The lentils give the sprouts a sweet taste.
Ingredients
Organic alfalfa, lentils, China Rose.
Glass jar sprouting instructions
- Days to sprout: 3 to 5 days.
- Soaking time: 4-8 hours
- Yield:1 tbsp of dry seed yields 1.5 teacups of sprouts.
Soaking: Place 1-2 tbsp of seed in a jar with a sprouting lid or a piece of cheesecloth with an elastic band. Add water, shake and let drain. Refill the jar with water and let soak for between 4 and 8 hours. This is not necessary but it does ensure faster sprouting. Drain well and place the pot in a light spot, on the counter or windowsill (not in the sun).
Rinsing:Rinse the pot twice a day with water and drain well.
You can store the sprouts in the refrigerator for about 5 days.
