Rucula Esmee
Arugula grows very quickly and can be harvested 3 to 4 weeks after sowing. Esmee is a variety with a spicy, nutty and not bitter taste. As you know, arugula is delicious to make pesto or as a salad. It is easy to grow in a pot or in the open ground. Make sure you have enough water, as a shortage will lead to premature flowering. Allow the plants to flower after a few harvests, this will attract many beneficial insects. At a later stage you can dry the seeds for the next season.
