Rucola Selvatica (wild rocket)

Selvatica is a spicy aromatic rocket variety and is also called Wild Rocket. This variety is a bit spicier than regular rocket and has sturdy leaves. The seed germinates a bit slower and needs more heat, so sowing from May is recommended. In the greenhouse it can of course be done earlier. Selvatica grows in a rosette shape and can be harvested often. A delicious rocket variety that is worth trying out.

Sowing

In the greenhouse you can sow rocket Salvatica from April on a seedbed. Make sure the soil is loose without clods. Sow in rows with a space of approx. 15 cm. Sow directly outside from mid-May in the same way as in the greenhouse. Regularly remove the flowers from the plants and leave the heart intact to be able to continue to harvest regularly.
