Green standard lettuce bean Domino.

This bean plant grows as a small shrub to about 60 cm high. The yield is very good with nice long slender beans. You don't have to harvest in one go, you eat them fresh from the bush. Pick the beans before they have grown (14 cm) then they are the tastiest.

Sowing

Sowing is possible from May to July, if the weather is not too rainy. Put the seeds 2 cm under the ground, in slightly moist soil. Sow in rows, keep 30cm between rows and 10cm in row. You can harvest after two months.

Knowledge

Also nice to know: just like other legumes, the roots of this bean plant also produce nodules containing nitrogen. Useful for next crop. After harvesting, remove the plant, but not the roots. For example, plant lettuce here, which loves nitrogen.
