Heraut produces an abundance of delicious, light green tender pods. The seeds of this early variety have a very high chance of success and if you sow them early you can harvest snow peas in May. Pick them young then they are nice and sweet and you can eat them raw or briefly heated.

Support

It climbs up to a height of 150 cm and does not make high demands on fertilization. Support is of course necessary, it is best to use mesh for this.

Sowing

Sowing is possible from mid-February to August. To be able to harvest continuously, sow again around the mesh after 3 to 4 weeks. Do this at a depth of 3 to 4 cm, with a planting distance of 5 cm.

Mangetouts are very expensive in the store, but dirt cheap from your own garden!
