Cucumber Tanja
All Gaia Seeds are of the highest quality. These seeds are cultivated in harmony with nature. Without chemical pesticides, artificial fertilizers, or genetic manipulation.
Cucumber Tanja produces beautiful dark green fruits with a firm, smooth skin and a stronger flavor. It is resistant to fungi and Fusarium wilt. Tanja is a land cucumber, growing along the ground, and is suitable for outdoor cultivation. The fruits are approximately 20 to 30 cm long, with a high yield.
Growing Tips
Sow cucumber seeds in a tray or pot. After four to six weeks, the plants can be transplanted into fertilized soil with a thick layer of mulch, such as straw. This keeps the soil moist and prevents the fruits from touching the ground. Provide enough space for the plants so they do not grow too close to each other. This helps prevent mold and diseases. Water at the base of the plants. Do not over-fertilize or over-water to avoid aphids. You can also add bentonite clay and sulfur if there are issues with insects and fungi. Plant marigolds near the cucumbers as a biological pest control against harmful insects.
